Implants

Implants or pellets are sterile preparations by a dense mass of small size, contains a drug with high purity (with or without excipients), prepared by compression or molding. Implants or pellets intended to be implanted in the body (usually subcutaneously) in order to obtain the release of the drug continuously for long periods. Implants were planted with the help of a special injector according to the surgical incision. These dosage forms are used for giving hormones such as testosterone or estradiol. This preparation is packaged of each in a vial  sheet or of foil sterile.
